This presentation follows the real-life story of Simon Evans, who was wounded and gassed in the trenches of France in WW1 and afterwards moved to the restorative calm of life as a postman in rural Shropshire. His story is woven together using traditional tales, local characters, singalong songs and extracts from Simon’s own personal letters and prose. This is an exceptionally poignant and entertaining story.
With Remembrance Sunday soon upon us, this is one way of remembering those who fought for our country – and the impact it had on their lives.
Expect laughter, tears, feel good moments and inspiration.
