The thought of getting dementia fills many people with dread.
But what can we do to improve life for people with dementia and their carers?
If you get the chance please pop into the library this week and have a look at the display we have put on for Dementia Week. It will be there from Sat 18th May until closing time on Sat 25th May.
We are also holding a dementia café in the library on Thursday morning from 10 am to noon. All welcome.
We will be holding a meeting on Friday 26th April at 2.30 pm in the URC hall for people who might be interested in volunteering for us. More details to follow.
We are delighted that Shropshire Council have decided to continue running the library in its current location. However we will need to raise funds for the library to remain there in the long term.
We are in the process of setting up as a new charity. We hope to officially launch this new charity in June this year but have events planned for May and June
We are looking for volunteers to help with the running of the charity and will be holding a meeting for potential volunteers in April. Please contact us if you would like to attend.
